Letters to Camp

Last summer I wrote the “Multiple Choice Letter #1.” Your kids will love multiple choice letters – and you’ll save time too.

But sometimes, “fill-in-the-blank letters work well too.  Here’s a sample fill-in-the-blank letter that will zip up your letter-writing.  I’ve left this blank so you can cut, paste and fill it in with the least effort.

Dear [insert camper’s name here],

I can’t stop thinking about what a great summer you must be having!  I’m sure you’re making lots of new ____________________________ and doing a lot of ___________________________, ___________________________, and ___________________________.  But please stay away from the ___________________________ at your camp – they’re dangerous!

Let’s see, what have we been doing here?  Honestly, nothing too interesting.  Yesterday afternoon we ___________________________, ___________________________, and then ___________________________.  Hard to believe but then it was time for dinner.  So we had dinner at ___________________________.  For dinner we had ___________________________, ___________________________, and ___________________________.  I’m sure that it you had been here, you would have ___________________________ or ___________________________ it.

This morning the weather has been ___________________________ and a little ___________________________.  Today I’m going to ___________________________ before I go to ___________________________.
