The toughest letter: the day after dropoff or visiting day

For many northern camps, today is the Monday morning after visiting day or the day after second/third session drop-off. Since this Monday can be a challenging one for many parent letter-writers, we’re taking a break from the usual suggestions on what TO write to your camper. Surprise!  Whether you’re a parent, relative, or friend of a camper, writing letters to camp can be easy, quick and fun.  And you can write letters to overnight or sleepaway camp in just five easy steps!

Of course letters to camp are an ideal way (often the only way) to share the latest news, stories and jokes and to build a special bond with your camper – whether the camper is your own child, grandchild, niece, nephew, cousin or friend.  And most camps will tell you that letters to camp are also a great way to help your camper to have a great summer camp experience

Fill-In-The-Blank Letter

Last summer I wrote the “Multiple Choice Letter #1.” Your kids will love multiple choice letters – and you’ll save time too.

But sometimes, “fill-in-the-blank letters work well too.  Here’s a sample fill-in-the-blank letter that will zip up your letter-writing.  I’ve left this blank so you can cut, paste and fill it in with the least effort.
